Multimedia filters are generally use as pre-treatment to reverse osmosis, ultrapure, ultra filtration and UV Disinfection plants and set-ups.
The purpose of the filters are to reduce the turbidity, organic matters, chemical and metals in the raw water to protect the downstream plants. This is achieved by using a sand/glass media filter for reducing the turbidity while a second or even third filter is applied to reduce the organic matters, chemical and metals. This is done with different media in the filter tanks.
These solutions can consist of small FRP, larger ST-37 Epoxy Painted or Stainless Steel tank(s) with head valve or surface pipe/valve systems all depending on the flow rates and raw water quality.Our range of multimedia filters starts from 600L to 2,9,000L per day. Higher capacity is achieved by parallel filter installation.
