There exists a large range of mechanical filters. At Smart Water Systems we mainly focus on Screen Filters and Disc Filters.
The purpose of these filter types is solely to reduce the turbidity. In some case they can replace a sand/glass media filter but are more often used for applications where a higher micron size is acceptable let’s say above 50 microns.
The range is huge and often multi filter skids are built to meet the specific application. These solutions can consist of small FRP, larger ST-37 Epoxy Painted or Stainless Steel tank(s) with head valve or surface pipe/valve systems all depending on the flow rates and raw water quality.Our range of multimedia filters starts from 600L to 2,9,000L per day. Higher capacity is achieved by parallel filter installation.
